Disini saya akan memberikan keterangan dengan apa yang dimaksud dengan Recount Genre. Anda bisa bertanya pada saat kita bertemu di kelas. Sementara itu Anda harus membaca keterangan di bawah ini untuk memahami jenis tulisan be-genre Recount.
Purpose
The purpose of a recount is to list and describe past experiences by retelling events in the order in which they happened (chronological order).
Structure
The basic structure of a recount consists of three parts:
- The setting or orientation - background information answering who, when, where and why?
- Events are identified and described in chronological order.
- Concluding comments express a personal opinion regarding the events described.
Language Features and Conventions
The recount has a title, which summarises the text. Past tense verbs are used, and frequent use is made of words which link events in time, such as next, later, when, then, after, before, first. Recounts describe events, so plenty of use is made of verbs (action words), and of adverbs (which describe or add more detail to verbs).
Short Example
MY DAY AT THE BEACH
Last week my friend and I were bored after three weeks of holidays, so we rode our bikes to Smith Beach, which is only five kilometres from where I live.
When we arrived at the beach, we were surprised to see there was hardly anyone there.
After having a quick dip in the ocean, which was really cold, we realised one reason there were not many people there. It was also quite windy.
After we bought ourselves some hot chips at the takeaway store nearby, we rode our bikes down the beach for a while, on the hard, damp part of the sand. We had the wind behind us and, before we knew it, we were many miles down the beach.
Before we made the long trip back we decided to paddle our feet in the water for a while, and then sit down for a rest. While we were sitting on the beach, just chatting, it suddenly dawned on us both that all the way back we would be riding into the strong wind.
When we finally made it back home, we were both totally exhausted! But we learned some good lessons that day!

my holiday at popoh beach
ReplyDeletemy friend and I went to popoh by motorcycle at 07.00am until 13.00am,at 08.00am my friend and I went to fish market near the beach. after that at 11.00am my friend and I went to garden near for enjoyed the air. and at 12.00am my friend and I went to lembayung cafe for launch. so...at 12.30am we backed to our home.
last week my friend and I were went to popoh beach, we were went to popoh by motorcycle at 07.00am until 13.00am, at 08.00am my friend and I went to fish market near the beach. after than at 11.00am we were went to garden near the beach for enjoyed the air. and at 12.00am my friend and I went to lembayung cafe for launch. so at 13.00am we were backed to our home.

My Activities Last Sunday
ReplyDeleteLast Sunday morning my frien I went to the Sunday Market, at Jl. Ijen.
When we arrived at the Sunday Market, we were very happy to see some cloths,soes, and bag. There is a very cheps and many people sold some baggages. So I can bought some one. My friend and I bought a bag and soeh.
After that we walk to find some think. After we bought ourselves some baggages at the takeaway store.
Before we back home we decided to paddle our feet in the water for a while, and then sit down for a rest. While we were sitting on the chair.
My friend and I very happy went to the Sunday Market.
When we finally made it back home.
MY LAST SUNDAY ACTIVITY
ReplyDeleteLast Sunday, I was at home. it's because I went home at Friday evening.
Ehm... what did I do at home? At the morning, I helped my parent to swept the floor and yard. after that, my grandma's chicken had waited to be given feed. it's my work to go to river looked for fresh water grass. I think It's called "ngarit".
When I went home, I might sliced it into small parts. After all Chicken's time was finish, I watched television with my sister. As usual I watched naruto and other anime, like bleach, pokemon, etc.
In the evening, I just slept in my room because I was sick. it might be maag because I didn't breakfast. However, I felt so happy because I knew I was at home...........
Study Tour in Batu ,Regency Malang
ReplyDeleteOne day i along with class my friends XI IPS 1 hold holiday or study tour its way conducted by High School 2 in Malang. programmed that be carried out
on first this holiday is besides to consoles self after test do observation. this holiday programmed be carried out at Argo tour, the place at region Batu precisely at regency Malang.
After arrival there i along with my friend and especially my class guardian looks for shading and they also bring their food provision and all, at once eaten by them. afterwards, they are a moment rest i along with friends and class guardian makes to fruit estate place, flower etc,that use special car that is provided by Argo tour.After arrive at state place i along with friends does observation in flower and fruits there. and afterwards my friend and I extradites observation result to class guardian or guide teacher.
My Sweet Holiday at "Coban Rondho"
ReplyDeletelong time ago, when i'm 10 years old my family and i went to malang city. and we come to Water Fall, the name is Coban Rondho. It's a nice place. The weather is cold and a water like a liquit ice. My sister and i play a cool water, we are enter to a small river. My mom and my dad just wait besides a small river. My sister and me make a competition, the winner is who get a much flowers. The flower name is "terompet" because this flower like a terompet (the instrumen music with a blow). Ofcourse i'm the winner because my sister is smaller than me.
we are so tired.
Then, my parent, my sister, and i lunch a meat ball. It's so delicius. After lunch we countinue to annother place in malang city.
I love my family,
I love my mommy,
I love my pappy,
And i love my sister.
It's my sweet holiday, because i can together with my pappy. And we like a complete family.
I can't and never foget this holiday.
RELAXING TOGETHER WITH FAMILY IN PRIGI BEACH
ReplyDeleteVacation with family very pleasant. we chosen vacation to Prigi beach which do not far with our house. Our home address in countryside of Kendalrejo district of sub-province Durenan of Trenggalek. Prigi beach located in district of sub-province Watulimo of Trenggalek. Before leaving do not forget we prepare food to we eat when in coast by enjoying coast panoramic view panoramic beauty. Journey to our coast of a family go up car. Journey to coast very pleasant. Journey time go to Prigi beach from home my about one hour. Feel run down on the way have been paid by after seeing the beauty from Prigi beach.
When vacation, Prigi beach of crowded fulfilled by visitor of home affairs and or abroad. I and my sister want to try to swim in coast but there are commemoration for the things wishing to swim because coastal in situation tide so that very dangerous if swimming do not take a care it is possible that dragged by coastal wave. After seeing that commemoration, I and my sister cancel to swim. So that we are only playing at sand.
Beauty Prigi beach will seen more is beautiful looked into if visitor do not throw away garbage promiscuously. Seen around coast many garbage scatter so that the beauty of coast a little a few. We ought to have to take care of the beauty of which have been given by God to us so that later can enjoy by our router generation. Very regrettably if beautiful coast do not maintained.
Beside I and my sister engross to play at sand, my family absorbed in seeing kinds of from ornament which in selling over there. Sudden my father invite a family us to circle coast gone up sailboat. We are all aggreeing father invitation. we order sailboat once circle at the price of fifty thousand rupiah. We can enjoy ruthless of coastal wind. feell all cured dizzy so that mind become freshly.
Not felt once circle coast very quickly, though its coast very wide. That probably because we very enjoying so that not felt. Boat step aside and we immediately alight from boat. When going down my sudden sister fall and she weep. My mother made a play for my sister but just my sister remain to be weep. But when my father buy my sister ice-cream, she finally desist to weed. Finish circled coast, stomach felt very hungry. we immediately eat together. Me and mothet release and prepare food stock we which have prepare from home. Food which we bring from home there is rice, vegetable of tewel, chicken kare, rawon, etcetera. While drinking of there is white water and ice juice. This food seen modestly but very delicious when eating together with family.
Day have dark progressively. Sun start to sink. Hour have shown at four evening. I and my family immediately pack up to return home. All goods which have tidy entered into car. To ascertain nothing that under developed, we check one by one. After us check in the reality have is complete. After all finished, I and my family immediately enter car. feel tired do not so felt because have been paid by relaxing with family.
Journey from Prigi beach, seen my sister sleep fallen asleep. My sister cute when sleep. See my sister sleep, I also want sleep. Safe of sleep all. father and mother thank have time for this vacation. I love all of you, my family.
HOLIDAY AT WATER PARK (SUMBERUDEL)
ReplyDeleteLast holiday my friend and I went to water park (sumberudel) in my country. We went from home at 08.00 AM, and we arrived to place at 10.00 AM.
When we arrived there, we took a rest for have lunch for few minutes . We ate in Robby restaurant , he is one of our friends. After that we bought tickets in risepcionist to enter the water park. In there, we were having fun, it is pleasant place for us. Because all of thing in there could make us happy and we could refresh our mind from all tasks.
In the water park, there are a lot kind of entertainment places. Like water game, ghost house, colonial ship, roller coster etc.
Beside play area water park, also ha good and nice scenery. In there, there are a lot kind of flower and some kind of animal is they are so funny, cause felt happy and enjoyed the entertainment very much ,we don`t realize that it`s 02.00 PM. So, we had to go back to take a rest a few moment. After that we went home together.
